Lynn Douglas Design & Construction is primarily a remodel and addition construction company.  I have been in and around the construction industry for over thirty years, starting in the heating and air conditioning industry in 1976.  I have always felt fortunate for my time in that business because I learned so much about the building trades that is still with me today; electricity, sheet metal, gas pipe fitter and so much about how to move through the rafters and joists.  It was a great education.

Then I got the call of corporate America.  I was still in the trade side of the business but I was doing it for a major corporation.  I continued with that company in various capacities for over 20 years.

For several years I have wanted to “put all my tools in my truck” and just go out and do really good work for people.  Although I have always done projects for people the time came to do it on a bigger scale.  We began operation under the Lynn Douglas Design & Construction name in early 2008.  My first trade certificate and my gas pipe fitting license are dated 1976, 1977 respectively so I have the experience to meet the customers’ expectations.
